What To Expect

On your first visit we have allotted a little extra time to really get to know you and your wellness goals, address any questions you may have and go over treatment plans and options. You will have your acupuncture treatment allowing you to relax for around 30 minutes, followed by a complimentary cupping session (optional). 

While there may be a slight sensation during the application of the needles most patients find deep relaxation and even fall asleep during treatment. Most patients report not feeling majority of the needles. 

While every patient is different and every health journey unique, many patients feel some kind of symptom relief after the very first treatment. Expectations are always discussed at the initial appointment. 

Unlike the Western medicine model, holistic medicine aims for true healing and bringing you into your optimal health. While we hope you make acupuncture a regular part of your wellness care, most patients find after 6-12 visits they can start on a maintenance regimen.
